In April 2017, Tenth Presbyterian Church launched a capital campaign–“In Christ Through All Generations”–to support ongoing ministry and programs in the 1710 Spruce Street Ministry Center.
We purchased the building in 2015 and have experienced the Lord’s work through it since we moved in. We must continue to pay off the debt of our purchase, and our goal is to raise $3 million toward this effort by May 2020.

Video: A Word from Liam
Imagine a church…
- Faithfully declaring God’s Word from the heart of Philadelphia since 1829, as vibrant and gospel-centered today as it was then.
- Focused on the Bible and on exalting Christ, proclaiming the gospel message over the city, the country, and the world by radio, webcast, and social media.
- Equally concerned that God’s word be heard across the street, around the corner, and around the world.
- Whose people have dreamed of growing their ministries, prayerfully waiting for new property next to the church to become available.
Now, imagine that after over a hundred years of wishing and praying, this church’s dream of ministry expansion became possible!
This church is Tenth Presbyterian in Philadelphia, where the life changing message of the gospel continues to go out from Spruce Street, and the dream building next door to the sanctuary is now ours! Not only have we moved in, but the building is up and running with new and old ministries competing for its space.
It came to us out of the blue, at a time when we least expected it and when we were least able to purchase it. But we acted in faith, believing that our many prayers had been answered and that God was pushing us along the road into the future he has for us.
This is an exciting time to be part of Tenth Presbyterian Church, which has blessed generations of people both inside and outside our doors and which will, under God’s watchful eye, continue to do so for generations to come. Please join us in a capital campaign to raise the necessary funds to complete the purchase of the building. And let us praise God who loves to take his people by surprise!
In Christ,
Dr. Liam Goligher, Senior Minister
