Dr. Scott Redd is the president and Stephen B. Elmer Professor of Old Testament at the Washington, DC, campus of Reformed Theological Seminary. He received his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary and completed his doctoral dissertation in the Department of Semitic Language and Literature at the Catholic University of America. His academic and popular writing explores the cross-section of biblical exegesis, literary studies, and theological interpretation. Scott is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He has ministered in multiple church contexts and considers his call to include both the academy and local church ministry. Scott, his wife Jennifer, and their five daughters live in Northern Virginia.
