We are two young professionals who work from our home multiple days of the week. We are seeking a loving and dedicated caregiver to come to our home and take care of our new baby so that we can be attentive to our jobs during the working day (about 8 hours per day). We are looking to minimize interruptions and distractions during the working day, but one or both of us will be at home while you’re here.
General
Start date in mid-August
One child who will be 12 weeks old at that time
1-2 days every week
$22 per hour (negotiable)
Duties
Supervision during the workday to ensure safety and health of newborn baby
Childcare tasks such as bottle-feeding, changing diapers, changing clothes, and bathing
Activities with baby such as reading books and playing with age-appropriate toys
Minor household chores directly related to childcare (e.g. baby’s laundry, take out trash from diaper pail)
Qualifications
Perfect for a young adult or retiree who likes kids
Will require a background check and references
Require transportation to get to and from Mt. Airy, Philadelphia
Must have received standard childhood vaccines (MMR and Tdap)
Misc
We have a pet cockatiel (bird)
