Join Tenth College Fellowship on September 15-17 for our fall retreat in Ocean City, NJ. Our theme for this year will be “Wise Living in a Foolish Age” and we will learn how to apply a biblical worldview in an increasingly secular age. This will be a time of encouragement and of building one another up as we study God’s Word and enjoy rich fellowship at the beach.

All undergraduate students and college-aged individuals are welcome.

The doctrine of sin is one that is often overlooked, and yet every human being that has walked the face of the earth experiences sin in their lives (Romans 3:23). We know that sin is bad, but so often we have trouble identifying sin in ourselves. What is sin? How does sin affect our relationship with God? Are our desires sinful? We invite you to join us as Dr. Mark Jones presents two lectures on the topic of sin, addressing both the origin of sin and the nature of desire and sexuality. Come learn more about how to fight indwelling sin in your life and grow in wonder at the cost of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins. Please let us know if you’re coming. About Dr. Jones

Mark Jones (Ph.D., Leiden University) is the senior minister at Faith Vancouver Presbyterian Church (PCA) in British Columbia, Canada. He has authored many books, including Knowing Sin, and speaks around the world on the topics of Christology and Christian living. Mark is married to Barb, and they have four children.

Ocean City Beach Day

Seagull on the Beach

Join others from Tenth for a day at the shore. Meet at Tenth at 8am, or at Ocean City Baptist Church at 10am. Please bring $10 for the beach tag. Lunch will be provided. We will spend the day at the beach and boardwalk, and will head back to Philadelphia around 6pm.

Please register each individual who plans to attend.
