This year's Intermed will be an exciting evening of a panel discussion, fellowship, and outreach. Invite friends and colleagues to this night focused on reconciling the suffering in the world—particularly suffering we see first hand in medicine—with the love of God. The panel will include Dr. Ray Barfield, pediatric oncologist and professor of pediatrics and philosophy at Duke University, and Dr. John Hansen-Flaschen, Medical Director at University of Pennsylvania Lung Center and Paul F. Harron, Jr. Family Professor.

Walk-ins welcome; no registration required.

Summer Medical Institute Day of Outreach

By / May 13

We're holding a medical outreach in North Philly open to all Christian healthcare students, clinicians, and those who have a burden to share God's love in the urban neighborhoods of this beautiful city.  We'll be working alongside the SMI student participants and faculty as we provide door-to-door blood sugar and blood pressure screens, sharing the Gospel through conversation and prayer with those we meet.  As usual, we'll conclude the day with a debriefing, a meal and worship.
