Tenth’s Men’s ministry seeks to strengthen men who learn from and follow after the Lord Jesus Christ as members of the church in all areas of life as they relate to God, their families, one another, others in the church body, and the world. This kind of spiritual growth occurs through the gathering of the church together in corporate worship of our great and glorious Triune God under the Word proclaimed (Hebrews 10:25) and less formally in building one another up, admonishing one another, setting a structure of accountability to one another, and bearing one another’s burdens (1 Thessalonians 5:11; Colossians 3:16; Galatians 6:2)
Our desire is to equip men to be the brothers, husbands, and fathers God has called them to be in their families and in their vocations (Genesis 2:15; Psalm 128; 1 Peter 3:7; 1 Corinthians 15:58)
We seek to ask ourselves regularly how does the accomplished work of Jesus affects:
- My relationship with God?
- My self-image and sense of identity?
- My relationships with my friends?
- My relationships with unbelieving people in the world?
- My relationships with my family?
