This monthly report provides the congregation with key highlights from the Session meetings, offering a “window” into the thoughts and actions of the elders. Our goal is to share significant updates that may be of interest to you.
Many have asked about the timeline moving forward. Since our last congregational meeting, we have been working on this within an already packed first quarter. Before resuming the congregational meeting, we wanted to take time for confession.
This past week, the Elders held a Special Session Meeting to discuss several important matters. A key focus was establishing a timeline of significant events at Tenth, which we believe will be of particular interest to the congregation.
- February 22nd – Presbytery Abuse Seminar at Tenth – This is a training for Teaching Elders and Ruling Elders, put on by Presbytery and hosted at Tenth.
- February 25th – Stated Meeting of the Session
- February 28th – Congregational Forum to hear statement of the Session on the GRACE Report and Confession to the Congregation.
- March 7th – Resumed Congregational Meeting at 7:00 pm
If you have any questions about this timeline, please feel free to speak to Ruling Elders Jamin Ferner (Moderator) or to me (clerk).
“May the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion.” (Psalm 134:3 NIV), Praise the Lord.
Sincerely for the Session,
George K. McFarland
Clerk of Session
