Since March 1995 Tenth’s Urban Ministry Conference has sought to renew our commitment to reach the city with the gospel through word and deed and to train Christians to serve Christ by thinking and acting biblically about issues which confront the church.
The conference has demonstrated both the necessity and importance of mercy ministry in metro Philadelphia and has given vision for greater outreach. It has brought different cultures and ethnicities together worshipping, learning, and ministering to the needs of our neighbors.
This year on March 20-22, we have the opportunity to partner with our denomination in its first ever mercy ministry conference on the East Coast: Mercy Builds Bridges. Held just outside Washington, DC, workshops include such topics as medical missions, disaster response, immigration, sex trafficking, diaconal ministry, prison inmates, disability, after-school programs, and multi-cultural ministry. Speakers include locals Doug Logan, Kristen Harnley, Steph Hubach, and David Apple, plus others from across the nation.
Register now for our denomination’s March 20-22 conference, hosted by Wallace PCA in College Park, MD (just outside DC). The conference will feature 30 workshops, 4 plenary sessions, and opportunities to network with hundreds of like-minded people. Free copies of all conference materials and recordings are included in the registration fee.
