Proverbs 27:1

Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring.

It is common sense to know we are not guaranteed tomorrow. The epistle of James 4:13-16 reads, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit'— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.'  As it is, you boast in your arrogance."

God is in control, and is sovereign over his world (and our lives). We can find peace knowing the Father of us all—Creator of the universe—and Savior from sin, death, and hell. We can have peace knowing that,

God is in control
We believe that His children will not be forsaken
God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him, we know
God is in control, oh God is in control (words by Twila Paris)
