In the beginning, God created men and women equally in His image (Gen. 1:26). Yet even before the fall, God gave men and women distinct roles by design (Gen. 2:15, 18). This design wasn’t a mistake—it was very good (Gen. 1:31). In creation, God laid out the blueprint for men and women to flourish as they embrace their respective God-ordained callings, but sadly, sin’s entry into the world has disrupted God’s good design (Gen. 3).
