The major theme of this book is that Jesus Christ is greater than any angel, priest, or old covenant practice. Christians, then, must not forsake the great salvation that Jesus has brought about. Come and learn how, with bold assurance, we must hold on by faith to the true rest found in Christ, and we must encourage others in the church to do the same.
Resource: “Hebrews Through a Hebrew’s Eyes”, by Stuart Sacks. This is a short overview by Sacks who was an assistant pastor at Tenth under Dr. James Boice. (You may join this class via a Zoom link. Please contact the teacher for details.)
