Christian Female looking for a Room/Room-Mate

Hi All!

I go to Grace and Peace PCA on Washington Street, and come to Tenth’s Evening Service when I can. I’m looking for a room, or another gal to find a house together for early/mid October.

I’m a pretty quiet room-mate. I do enjoy having people over for board game nights, etc. but am not much of a party animal. I do have a cat, who is older and can just stay in my room. I appreciate open communication and clean spaces. I’m happy to become friends with my room-mates, but am happy to go with the flow as well.

My budget is $750/800, including utilities. I’d prefer to live within a 20/30 minute drive of Center City.

Thank you!

Looking for Christian Female Roommate

I’m looking for a seasoned (mid 30’s to 50’s) female roommate who’s quiet and respectful, hopefully working during the day. I have a place I am considering in Glenside- a house with 2 bedrooms. Rent would be $1250 per person, including utilities.
Thank you!

Male Christian Looking for a Room to Rent

Hello,

My name is Mark Moran, and I will be starting work in downtown Philadelphia this Monday. I have been told many great things about Tenth Presbyterian Church and am looking forward to attending. I am seeking a place to rent for maybe only a few months at the moment, but potentially long term as well. Please let me know if you would know of a place like this that is available. My phone number is 240-713-2717, and you can call or text anytime.

Thank you,

Woodworker Seeking Workspace

My name is Hadley Whittle and I am a small-scale woodworker who uses reclaimed lumber and hand tools to design various furniture projects. I have recently relocated from Northern Virginia to Northwest Philadelphia and am seeking a simple studio space where I can continue pursuing my craft. Over the past three years, I have built a number of prayer kneelers for members in my community from a variety of Christian traditions. My choice to forgo commercially produced wood & power tools represents my desire for woodworking to remain an act of care & contemplation rather than production & consumption.
My ask, practically, is this:

Level, durable flooring
Roof or awning
Ventilation
Natural light
Space to store a work in progress

Please reach out if you have or know of any potential studio spaces in the area such as a garage, shed, warehouse, car port, etc. I’m happy to discuss reciprocities. Learn more at hadleywhittle.com

Housing Needed for Christian Male

Hi, my name’s Jeff and I’m moving from Boston to Philly hopefully in August/September. I’ve lived in Boston for 10 years and my girlfriend has recently decided to commit the next 2 years completing her post-doc at the Philly VA Hospital, hence the impetus for my relocation. I’m 37, and work in Business Ops for a Tech Startup in Boston. I’m also actively applying for similar jobs in the Philly area as I won’t be able to continue to work remotely with my current company. I’m flexible when it comes to housing, as long as it’s reasonably walkable/bike-able to the Rittenhouse Square area as that’s where my girlfriend lives. Please reach out and say hello 🙂

Looking for Maternity Clothes/Baby Items

By / Oct 7

If you have any hand-me-downs looking for a good home, we will gladly use them! Baby is due in March 2020, so any fall/winter maternity clothes (sizes M-L) that you no longer need would be much appreciated. (It’s hard enough for a Floridian to figure out how to dress for winter in Philly, let alone with a baby bump!) We are also looking for a bassinet and/or crib to borrow, and any other items you found helpful but no longer need. Thanks!
