Join us for our Spring Parish Meeting where we will hear updates from church leadership and find out more what is happening at Tenth. Come enjoy fellowship, snacks and discussion.
To give thanks for God’s providence and the end of slavery in the United States, Tenth Church will sponsor a Jubilee Day Dinner. Let us come and join together in a time of encouragement, remembrance, and celebration. These special days included prayer meetings, songs, food, and celebrating.
From the Encyclopaedia Britannica: "The following year, on June 19, 1866, the first official Juneteenth celebrations took place in Texas. The original observances included prayer meetings and the singing of spirituals, and celebrants wore new clothes as a way of representing their newfound freedom." (The Editors of Encyclopedia Britannica. "Juneteenth." Encyclopedia Britannica, June 17, 2025. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Juneteenth.)
We will enjoy several spirituals, sung by Tenth's own Suzannah Waddington.
We will enjoy Ethiopian food, prepared by Tenth's own Elizabeth Bekele.
We will recognize those who are serving or have served in our nation's military. Dress uniforms are welcomed and encouraged.
We will play Jubilee Day Lingo, a bingo like game with prizes.
We will end our time together in prayer.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Invite your friends and neighbors!

It's back! Weather and permit-permitting, the Community Block Party returns to Delancey Street this fall. While this is a nice time to mingle with the church family, more importantly, this is a time for our church community to be welcoming to our local community. We need about 40 volunteers to make this event a success. Please sign up to volunteer before the end of August. If you're in a small group that would like to serve together, please contact us.
Join other Tenth members in electing officers for the next term, hearing recommendations for budgets for 2026, and more.

This fall, join with other moms from the neighborhood as we share one another’s celebrations and struggles and find out what hope the Bible has to offer. All are welcome and no Bible knowledge is necessary.
