Tenth Parking Placards

You will need to display a Tenth Parking Placard on the dashbooard of your vehicle (driver's side), visible through the front windshield. Placards are available at both the Spruce Street and Delancey Street entrances.

Parking Safety and Courtesy

When parking on the street we ask that you...

  • Check carefully for bike riders before opening your door into traffic.
  • Display the current parking placard in your front windshield. Placards can be obtained from our Delancey or Spruce Street entrances.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Sunday street parking guidelines. Not following these guidelines may result in your car being ticketed or towed.

Parking Garages

Nearby garages that offer reduced rate or free parking for Tenth attendees are generally a better parking option on Sundays since street parking fills up quickly. Free garage parking (with a chaser ticket) is available at Liberty Place Garage on 16th St. between Chestnut and Market.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking for Sunday services is available on both sides of Spruce Street directly in front of the church building. The yellow cones with the handicapped symbol indicate where handicapped parking is available. Please remember to display your Tenth parking placard and to follow all other parking Sunday street parking guidelines found above. Placards can be found at the Delancey or Spruce Street entrances.

There are a number of metered handicapped spaces within a 1-block radius of the church. On Sundays, you can park in these metered spots for free, if one is available. Simply display both your handicapped placard and Tenth parking placard in your windshield.

Parking Tickets

If you receive a parking ticket but were parked according to the guidelines above:

  • Put a copy of the ticket in Nancy Hala’s box in the Delancey mailroom.

You may also fax (215-735-3960) or mail a copy of your ticket within a day of receiving it. We cannot help resolve tickets if not submitted to us promptly.

Garage Parking

Exit the garage on either 16th Street (northbound) or 17th Street (southbound). Insert the garage ticket into the machine first, followed by the chaser ticket, which serves as full payment.
