  • Dr. Liam Goligher will preach, “The Gospel According to Isaiah: King of Kings” (Isaiah 9:1–7).

  • Parish 2, North Philadelphia & Northern Suburbs, may worship together in the Catacombs during the 11 AM service.

6:15 PM Prelude & Service

  • Emilie Park, violin, and Norm Carter, piano, will play for the 15-minute Soli Deo Gloria prelude.

Other Sunday Events

  • Day of Prayer: the Session exhorts all members to attend one of the prayer meetings at 9 and 11 AM. 
  • Graduate students and faculty are invited to lunch in the Catacombs following the 11 AM service. David Skeel, Tenth elder and professor of corporate law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, will join us for a discussion on life as a Christian in academia and his upcoming book on apologetics.
  • Medical Campus Outreach will have a luncheon, 12:45–2:00 PM, in Fellowship Hall West. Jerry Borton, the director of Joni and Friends in the Philadelphia area, will speak on “Suffering and the Gospel.”
