Summer Sermon Series Continues, Community Dinner, TCN Lunch, and More

We hope you will join us this Sunday for our services.

9 & 11 AM Services

  • Dr. Liam Goligher will preach, “Christ the Controversialist (Jesus Confronts His Critics)—Calamity: Accident or Punishment?” (Luke 13:1–5).  
  • We'll sing: Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven; Our Children, Lord, in Faith and Prayer; God Moves in a Mysterious Way.
  • The morning services will include baptisms.

6:15 PM Service and Prelude

  • Sheryl Woods Olson, soprano, will sing for the 15-minute Soli Deo Gloria prelude.
  • Rev. Deryck Barson will preach, “Enter into God’s Rest” (Hebrews 4:1–14).  
  • We'll sing: Join All the Glorious Names; I Know That My Redeemer Lives; Hail, Thou Once Despised Jesus!

Other Sunday Events

  • Parish 2 has an opportunity to serve our homeless neighbors at today’s Community Dinner. Help is needed with food preparation and hosting in Fellowship Hall after the 11:00 service.
  • Join Tenth City Network (20s & 30s) for lunch at a local restaurant. Meet at the church sign at 17th & Spruce at 12:30 PM. 
  • The Maranatha camping trip will conclude today; Maranatha is canceled tonight.
  • The church library is open in both C1 and C4 in the Catacombs 10:25–10:55 AM.
  • Tenth International Fellowship (TIF) meets for worship on Sundays at 11:00 AM in Fellowship Hall.
