The important work of children’s ministry at Tenth begins with the nursery. During worship services, Tenth Nursery provides care for children from ages 2 months to 3 years. All children who come through our doors experience loving care, a safe and encouraging environment, and early teaching about Jesus.

But Tenth Nursery also needs you! Why should you consider working in the Tenth Nursery? Volunteering for Tenth Nursery gives you:

  • The opportunity to assist parents in raising their children to know and love Jesus.
  • The flexibility of self-scheduling.
  • The chance to build relationships with other members of Tenth Church.
  • The fun and rewarding experience of caring for children.
  • The privilege of serving parents, pastors, and the entire Tenth congregation.

Perhaps you've always thought about volunteering but have felt ill-equipped to take care of children without some form of training. Well, help is on the way. Tenth Nursery is offering two training opportunities where you'll learn such helpful information as fire safety precautions and drills, guidelines for illness, and child security policies.

Current or potential volunteers are encouraged to attend one of these trainings:

If you plan to attend one of the trainings or are interested in volunteering for our spring schedule, please contact Nursery Coordinator Anne Lehman.
