Dear mother Elaine,

Welcome back from vacation.

According to BWI, the summer school is now postponed to later date. The students will attend classes every Saturday when the new school year resume. The reason is that the Ebola outbreak in Liberia has become a very serious problem for everyone. Due to this, the government has suspended all activities that have to do with gathering of people until 90 days.

Also please join us in prayer because, the ebola outbreak is very serious in Liberia.

Thank you so much for your helps to us in Liberia.

William,

Thank you for the information on the Ebola virus in Liberia. Our newspapers are giving us  little information on it. Can you send us more information? It helps us to pray if we have information on the problems and needs there. I am sending your information on to our NHL committee members.

Can Rock Spring have church services?

Will the University of Liberia be closed for the next 90 days?

Is the cost for food going up?

Are the children safe in the homes from the virus?

Dear mother Elaine,

Yes, Rock Spring is still having services.  But it takes the grace of God to have us going to church. Some churches almost close due to the situation because members are not going to church.

Concerning the cost of food, it is a normal thing because, there is not real free movement now due to the 90 day state of emergency declared by the government of Liberia. For the kids at the homes, God will be our helper because kids hard to be controlled. However, some mentions have been given by medical practitioners to follow to prevent the disease from spreading further. Also, kids are always kept home to keep out of the street. The death rate have  gone up so high for the past few weeks. Keep us in prayer. Thanks so much for the concern.
