Koji came to Osaka four years ago to join a Christian college project. What he really wanted to do was become a resource for church planters. When the college project was closed, Koji’s original hope was realized. He now speaks at mentoring seminars for Japanese lay workers, coaches Japanese elders and translates for missionaries as they train pastors. Koji is working with a Japan-wide network (CitytoCity) to train Japanese coaches who can coach other Japanese pastors and church planters. In addition, Marcia and Koji do marital and pre-marital coaching (mostly cross culture marriages), bi-lingual preaching in the local church, community building in their apartment complex, and lead two outreach Bible studies and a church small group.
