Saying Yes! to “Follow Me”

By / May 13

Have I said "Yes" to following Jesus? Women of all ages are encouraged to join us for a time of discussion, sharing, prayer, and fellowship. Jane (pseudonym) is a twenty-something Registered Nurse who has been at Tenth for the past 10 years. Through her time at Summer Medical Institute (SMI), she has been learning to incorporate her faith and her work. Jane is preparing to move to the Middle East this summer and to use her nursing skills to share the Good News among some of the least-reached people. Come hear how becoming a Global Outreach Partner has given her opportunities to trust God more and prepare to be spiritually challenged.

Lunch will be provided (suggested donation of $5); feel free to bring a dessert to share. Please RSVP on the Tenth Women Facebook page or contact TenthWSS@gmail.com.

Sparrows

By / May 13

Sparrows is going to be building up a storm!

All girls (age 5 and up) are invited to exercise their God-given creativity on Saturday, March 12, 1:00–3:00 pm, in Fellowship Hall.

Come get your hands on some fun and interesting construction toys to create your own architectural wonder. There will be games and building challenges and time to learn about some of the many amazing buildings in our world. You can even construct and take home your own creation using some unconventional building supplies!

Mrs. Ruth Allen, a licensed architect, will share truth from God’s Word with us for our devotional that afternoon.

Sparrows is an intergenerational ministry for girls and women. Teens and women are especially encouraged to come and make friends with the girls, be encouraged from the Word, and try out your design and building skills. Light refreshments will be served.

If you have any questions or would like to pre-register (which would be appreciated but is not a requirement for attending the event), please contact Amy Voorhis at amy@johnandamy.net; 856.429.4519.

Check www.tenth.org for garage parking information. Metered parking is available around the church.

Sparrows: Let it Snow … in October?

By / May 13

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…in October?!

After our very hot and humid summer, all girls (age 5 and up) are invited to think of colder things on October 15, 1–3 pm, in Fellowship Hall. Come and enjoy a snow ball fight, some frozen treats, and learn about winter and snow.

We will be creating three unique snowflake ornaments using a variety of materials. Mrs. Anne Lehman (who happens to love snow!) will share truth from God’s word with us for our devotional that afternoon.

Sparrows is an intergenerational ministry for girls and women. Teens and women are especially encouraged to come and make friends with the girls, be encouraged from the word, create something unique, and think cold thoughts. Light refreshments will be served.

If you have any questions or would like to pre-register (which would be greatly appreciated but not a requirement to attend), please email Amy Voorhis or call her at 856.429.4519.

Check at www.tenth.org for garage parking information. Metered parking is available around the church.
