When a friend or family member is struggling spiritually, do you ever feel uncertain about what to say? You may sense your loved one’s need to hear biblical encouragement or advice but, unsure of how to respond, you might simply commiserate or say nothing at all. God calls you to something more!
Join us at our Words Matter Seminar as Cheryl Marshall helps us understand why we must speak truth in love, how to respond to the spiritual needs of others, and where to find confidence to speak when we feel inadequate for the task. You’ll be encouraged to speak God’s truth in your sphere of influence and strengthen the body of Christ as a whole.
The conference, including food, costs $20. ($15 for students)

Cheryl Marshall currently serves as the Director of Women’s Ministries at her local church in Houston, Texas. A graduate of Master’s University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Cheryl has more than 25 years of experience in discipling and teaching women in the local church. Cheryl is
a wife, mom, Bible study teacher, and co-author of When Words Matter Most.

This spring, for six consecutive Thursday nights, we will offer an abbreviated version of our first course, “Foundations: From Exegesis to Exposition.” Six different faculty will each teach from their area of expertise and will cover the basic principles of biblical interpretation and exposition.
Please register as an individual, which costs $40. Once registered, please let us know so we can add you to the list of Tenth Women registrants who will receive study resources, optional online discussion, get-together links, and most importantly, prayer support.
