Mercy: God’s Call to Embrace our Neighbor

By / May 13

Redeemed sinners are called to extend God’s mercy to others.  If mercy is not solely doctrinal, how does the church put it into practice?

CANCELLED: Mercy Conference

By / May 13

As a community of faith, how are we at Tenth becoming whole? Is our ministry (of loving our neighbors and caring for members of the Body) driven by God’s story of restoration or is it driven by cultural ideas of how people change? Join us at the 2020 Mercy Conference as Dr. Brian Fikkert (author of When Helping Hurts and Becoming Whole) of the Chalmers Center at Covenant College helps us consider underlying causes of relational brokenness and let’s discuss in our workshops how these should affect wholistic ministry efforts in our neighborhoods and city. Dinner on Friday evening and light refreshments on Saturday morning will be served.

The Registration fee covers the entire cost of the event on both Friday and Saturday.
