Bridge-Builders (Ministry of Racial Healing) Luncheon

By / May 13

Join Bridge-Builders and International Outreach's combined luncheon on Sunday, May 20, 12:45 PM in Fellowship Hall. Mercy Director David Apple will be speaking on "God's desire is that we would be one," followed by a time for Q&A.

Our current focus in Bridge Builders is: Building Relationships Across Racial and Cultural Lines

Long before the horrible news stories of racial injustice across America, the leaders of Bridge-Builders ministry turned its focus to explore how we are many skin colors, yet one in Christ. Join us as we share the richness of our diversity and our oneness in Christ. Join us for lunch in an atmosphere where Tenth members and friends can build and develop relationships.  Of special focus will be the recent arrests at Starbucks in our very own neighborhood, sparking a national debate about race relations. Since 1996, Tenth Presbyterian Church (one block from Starbucks) through its "Reconcilers Fellowship" and Bridge-Builders," has done that and more.  Read this article.
