Christians in Academia: First Hand Stories
Come join Medical Campus Outreach for lunch 12:45-2:00 PM on April 29th in Fellowship Hall. After eating, we will discuss "Being a Christian in Academia" as various folks involved in academic medicine and basic science research share their careers and experiences. To find the Fellowship Hall, use the door at 1701 Delancey St. and head to the second floor.
Our speakers will be:
- Dr. Philip Scribano, DO, MCSE, attending physician and director of A Safe Place at CHOP, program director of the child abuse pediatrics fellowship
- Dr. Katy Meilleur, PhD, PCCNP-BC, Investigator in the Neuromuscular Symptoms Unit, Tissue Injury Branch at the National Institutes of Health
- Dr. Jessie Taylor, PhD in physics, University of Pennsylvania
Anyone interested in the discussion or our ministry is welcome to attend! Email Lauren with any questions.
