Christmas at Tenth
December 23, 2020 - December 24, 2020
As with most of life lately, Christmas at Tenth will be a bit different from the usual. Despite the circumstances, we will still have our usual Christmas services with reduced capacity.
Wednesday, December 23 & Thursday, December 24th at 7:30pm
This service of Lessons and Carols continues the beloved tradition at Tenth of celebrating the glory and mystery of the Incarnation. Scripture lessons chronicling the birth of Jesus, festive carol singing with the Nicaea Brass, anthems by the Tenth Chamber Choirs, and a homily by Dr. Goligher combine to praise our Great Savior.
Free Tickets are required for admission. Both services will be available by livestream at tenth.live.
Registration for the Lessons and Carols services is now “full.” For those who have tickets, if your plans change and you cannot use them, please make them available to others by unregistering using the link that is included on each ticket.
If you do not have a ticket and still would like to attend in person, there are a few options to consider:
- Check the registration daily. Some people do turn in their tickets. The best time to try is first thing in the morning.
- Walk-ins: As with all of Tenth’s worship services, the Session authorizes the ushers to allow a limited number of walk-ins until the sanctuary has reached a safe, physically distanced, capacity. These “extra seats” are intended primarily for people who might be guests to Tenth’s services, and are unfamiliar with the registration requirement. While we do not want to discourage anyone from coming, we must emphasize that walk-in seating is very limited and walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a seat in the sanctuary.
- Overflow seating: There will be overflow seating available in Reception Hall and Fellowship Hall.
Doors open at 7:00pm each evening.
For those unable to attend in person, both Lessons and Carols services will be livestreamed and also available online after the event.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate together through these challenging times!
