In accordance with the Purpose Statement and Objectives of Tenth Church, the music ministry exists to help us "To worship God in a worthy manner through thoughtful words, prayers, and superior music."

"Our Philosophy-Theology of Music" provides a more detailed explanation of the considerations serving as the basis for music at Tenth.

Music Education at Tenth

Complete information on Music Education for young people at Tenth will be available by mid-August. The following groups will be functional this Fall:

Praisemakers (Pre-K: 4 & 5-year olds) - meets during Sunday 11:00 am worship service.

Tenth Schola Cantorum (Grades 1-6) - meets Sunday from 6:00-7:40 pm at 315 S. 17th Street, during evening worship service.

Maranatha Orchestra (Grades 7-12) - meets Sunday from 4:45-5:50 pm in Fellowship Hall. Try-outs will be held early in September. Check back for details.

Choral Opportunities for Teens (Grades 7-12) - able to participate in Tenth Church Choir, Tenth Men's Choir, ACTS Choral Ensemble. Check the ensembles link above (left) for more details about rehearsal times.
