From the outcry against Prop-8 to mainstream entertainment, our culture bombards us, saying that homosexuality is normal and healthy. Further, the issue is emotionally charged, as virtually everyone has personal connections to the gay community—family members, friends, co-workers, neighbors. This workshop examines the Bible's teaching about this issue, critiques pro-gay theology, and discusses how to speak wisely, compassionately, and redemptively into the current cultural quagmire.

This workshop will address what the local church and what an individual can do to reach out to people who struggle with sexual issues. God calls us to walk into each other's lives in all areas! We'll be looking at: How does the gospel practically help? What is real repentance? Why is a legalistic approach unable to accomplish true holiness and growth?

We're all sexual beings, created in the image of God . . . and we're human! This workshop discusses how the daily, specific, and personal grace of Jesus comforts and compels the unmarried person towards healthy relationships and holiness in his or her sexuality. How can I as a single person love the Lord totally in regards to my sexual desires?

Sexual abuse is one of the most devastating events in a person's life. The impact on the victim's spiritual faith, relationships, and sexuality can be extensive. What does the gospel have to offer to someone? How can the community of those who follow Jesus Christ make a healing difference in their lives?
