Ways to Give

There are many ways you can give to Tenth. The list of ways to give to Tenth provided below is not comprehensive, but it represents the most significant ways you can participate in giving. To learn more, please contact us or speak to your personal financial advisor. We are grateful for your continued support, both financially and in prayer. Tenth encourages members of other churches who are visiting this page to make a full commitment to their own churches before giving to Tenth.

Tenth's secure online giving options

You can make one-time or recurring payments using ACH or your debit card to the Church Ministry Budget, the Global Outreach Budget, the Building Fund, and the Capital Campaign.

  • Due to the processing costs of over 2.3% associated with using a debit card, the Session prefers use of on-line electronic check (ACH) instead of debit cards, since the fees for ACH are considerably lower.
  • The Session requests that credit cards not be used, since they do not want debt to be incurred as a result of giving.
Online bill payment service

Contact your bank to set up automated one-time or recurring gifts toTenth Church (like automated bill payments). Electronically generated checks will be sent by the bank directly to Tenth Church—use the address above. You will need to set up designations to the Church Ministry Budget, the Global Outreach Budget, the Building Fund, and the Capital Campaign with your bank.

Offering at worship services

You may write a check or place cash inside an offering envelope and put the envelope in the offering each week. Write your designation to Church Ministry, Outreach, Building Fund, or Other (you must specify the latter) on the envelope or the check memo line. Remember that to receive appropriate documentation for tax purposes, your name and address must be clearly identifiable with these contributions.

If you need offering envelopes, please contact Christina Corbett. Offering envelopes are not necessary if your check memo line clearly designates your offering.

Mail or deliver a check to the church

You may mail or deliver your contribution directly to the church office at:

Other options

Please contact Charlotte Eastlack if you are considering one of the following kinds of gifts so that we can understand how you would like this gift to be utilized.

Gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
You can save capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value for gifts of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have been held longer than twelve months and have appreciated in value. Please contact Charlotte Eastlack if you are interested in transferring these types of assets.

Gifts of appreciated real estate
Before you sell real estate, consider the options of donating the property outright or placing the real estate in a trust so you can retain the use of the property for life. There are significant capital gains tax savings as well as a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the property if held longer than twelve months.

Gifts of insurance
You can donate an existing insurance policy or name Tenth Church as a beneficiary to a new or existing insurance policy.

Deferred gifts
Brochures providing introductory information on charitable gift annuities, wills, retirement plan assets, and trusts are available in Reception Hall. Please contact Charlotte Eastlack if you would like to discuss this kind of gift with someone.
