Our faithful Lord has truly provided more than we could have asked or imagined!

We are pleased to announce that Colin Howland has accepted the position of Music Director for Tenth Church.

Under the session’s direction, the search committee particularly sought a talented musician with exceptional spiritual gifts, and the Lord has provided a wise and mature man with a heart for the Lord and his people.

Colin is currently music director at Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCPC) in Dallas, where he has served for the past seventeen years. His professional résumé also includes six years as organist at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, where he sat under the preaching of D. James Kennedy. Colin is a Delaware Valley native, was educated at Curtis Institute of Music, and was the assistant organist on the Wanamaker Organ while in high school and at Curtis.

Please be in prayer for the Howland family. Colin and his wife Robyn have three daughters; Rebecca (18), Kirsten (14), and Anna (11). They have a lot to accomplish this summer: buying a house in the region, selling their house in Dallas, relocating their family, sending their first child to college, and getting acquainted with new places and people. As the Lord directs, Colin expects to begin his service at Tenth late in August.

Glory to God alone,
Frank Harder, for the Music Director Search Committee
